1. Purpose of the tool

Hotam is a digital tool that produces a preliminary readiness estimate against ISO 9001:2015 for Israeli small and medium businesses. The estimate is based on your self-reported answers and on limited analysis of evidence you upload.

2. What this tool is not

  • Not a certification audit. It does not replace a Stage 1 or Stage 2 audit by an accredited certification body such as the Standards Institution of Israel (SII) or IQC, or any other body recognised by ISRAC (the Israel Accreditation Authority) or by international accreditation bodies (IAF, UKAS, ANAB, etc.).
  • Not legal, professional, or engineering advice. Outputs do not replace advice from a qualified quality management consultant, lawyer, or accountant.
  • Not a guarantee of outcome. A high readiness score does not guarantee you will pass a real certification audit; a low score does not determine failure.
  • Not officially affiliated with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the Standards Institution of Israel, or any certification body.

3. Limitations of the analysis

Results rely on the information you provide. If information is incomplete, incorrect, or biased, the results will reflect that. The AI components used in the tool may err or hallucinate, and every finding should be treated as a suggestion that requires human verification before acting on it.

4. The standard itself

The binding text of the standard is SI ISO 9001 as published by the Standards Institution of Israel, and the international ISO 9001:2015 text published by ISO. You can purchase the standard from the SII standards store. Clause references in this tool are for explanation only and do not replace the authoritative text of the standard.

5. Liability

Subject to applicable law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the tool — including, without limitation, business decisions made based on the report, failure to obtain certification, or financial loss. Hotam's total liability, to the extent it cannot be excluded by law, shall not exceed the amount you actually paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the event (and ₪0 for the free tier).

Nothing in this disclaimer limits rights granted to consumers under Israel's Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981 or the Standard Contracts Law, 5743-1982, to the extent they apply.

6. Intellectual property

The generated report belongs to you. Hotam's logo, brand, code, and knowledge bases are protected by copyright and trademarks. You may not copy, distribute, or reverse-engineer the platform without prior written consent.

7. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Israeli law. Exclusive jurisdiction lies with the competent courts in the Tel Aviv-Yafo district.
